Petro-Canada Lubricants and Caterpillar collaborate on innovative R&D program Petro-Canada Lubricants (PCLI), a Suncor company, has been selected by Caterpillar to collaborate on the lubricant development contract in support of a Heavy Duty Vehicle (HDV) Efﬁciency program sanctioned by Energy Technologies Institute. PCLI will join Mack expands Fleet Management Services options Mack Trucks has announced a memorandum of understanding with Omnitracs, LLC to develop future service options for Mack ® Fleet Management Services. The additional options will expand Mack’s ﬂeet management offerings, and provide customers with more choices to boost safety and lower costs through improved operational performance. Omnitracs, a leading provider of ﬂeet management, routing and predictive analytics solutions for the transportation industry, enables customers to solve common ﬂeet problems and achieve their business objectives through intuitive technologies. Details regarding Omnitracs’ speciﬁc service offerings through Mack Fleet Management Services have not yet been ﬁnalized. Launched in 2014, Mack Fleet Man- agement Services connects Mack propri- etary data with third-party intelligence solutions to help customers manage their operations. Mack’s integrated GuardDog ® Connect telematics solution serves as the enabling hardware for Mack Fleet Man- agement Services and eliminates the need for aftermarket hardware purchases and installation costs. GuardDog Connect is standard on Mack Pinnacle™, Granite ® , Titan by Mack and TerraPro ® concrete pumper models. In addition to its uses in ﬂeet management, GuardDog Connect enables real-time diagnosis of issues, scheduling of repairs and conﬁrmation that parts are in stock, all while the truck is still on the job.
